AI Visibility Monitor: does AI still recommend you each month?

The AI Visibility Monitor is a monthly report of whether ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini name you or your rivals, asking the same 20 buyer questions every time. It costs £79 a month, with no setup fee and no minimum term. First report in 7 days.

Why isn't a one-off AI audit enough?

A one-off AI audit is a photo of what the answers said on the day. Those answers drift month to month as the engines change and your rivals publish, so a check from spring tells you nothing about autumn.

Checking by hand doesn't work either. You word the questions differently each time, ask one engine, and can't tell a real change from a different roll of the dice.

What works is the same questions, asked the same way, on the same day each month, with your rivals counted and your Google and Bing figures beside them. Then you know whether the work is paying off.

02

Why not check AI answers myself or use an SEO dashboard?

The AI Visibility Monitor asks the same 20 buyer questions on the same day each month and counts your three rivals on every answer. Checking yourself changes the questions each time, and an SEO dashboard tracks Google keywords, not questions.

03

What do you get each month with the AI Visibility Monitor?

The AI Visibility Monitor grades your 20 questions on three engines as cited, named or absent, counts your rivals, lists what changed, re-scores every page and adds your Google and Bing figures. Same-day alerts and a spend cap come with it.

  1. 01

    A monthly AI check

Your 20 frozen buyer questions asked three times each on ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, graded cited, named or absent.

  2. 02

    Rival share

Your three competitors counted on the same answers, so you see who gained and who lost.

  3. 03

    What changed

New citations, lost mentions and the source pages the engines used, called out at the top of the report.

  4. 04

    Page scores

Every page re-scored 0-100 for AI-readiness, with the ones that slipped named.

  5. 05

    Google and Bing figures

Clicks, views and indexed pages from both search consoles, in the same report.

  6. 06

    An alert if something breaks

If a key page errors or drops out of the index, you hear the same day, not at month end.

  7. 07

    A capped running cost

Each run has a spend cap set before it starts, so the AI calls can never cost more than budgeted.

04

What does a monthly AI visibility report show?

An AI Visibility Monitor report opens with how many of your 20 questions cited you, named you or left you out, against last month. Then come rival counts, new and lost mentions, page scores and any alerts. Here is a sample.

How soon do I get my first AI visibility report?

The AI Visibility Monitor sends its first report within seven days. Days one and two agree your questions and rivals, days three to five run the baseline on all three engines, and the report lands by day seven, then monthly.

  1. 01

    Days 1-2

    Set up

Your 20 questions and 3 rivals agreed (or carried over from your audit); search consoles connected.

  2. 02

    Days 3-5

    Baseline

The first full run on all three engines, every page scored, the monthly schedule and alerts switched on.

  3. 03

    Days 6-7

    First report

Your baseline report lands. From then on, one report a month on the same day.

06

Is the AI Visibility Monitor right for my business?

The AI Visibility Monitor suits a business that has done the audit or readiness work and wants to see if it pays off. It is the wrong buy if the basics are not fixed yet, or you want daily keyword ranks.

A good fit if

  • You have done the audit or readiness work and want to see if it pays off
  • Rivals in your area are clearly working on their search presence
  • You want one monthly page, not five dashboards

Not for you if

  • You haven't fixed the basics yet - start with the audit
  • You want daily keyword ranks - a rank tracker suits that better
  • You won't act on what the report says

Asked and answered

It is £79 a month, with no setup fee and no minimum term. That covers the monthly AI check across three engines, rival share, page scores, your Google and Bing figures in one report, and same-day alerts if a key page breaks. The AI calls are capped per run before they start, so your price doesn't move with usage. The AI Search Starter bundle includes three months of it alongside the audit and readiness work.

Cited means the AI answer linked to your website as a source. Named means it mentioned your business but didn't link to you. Absent means you weren't in the answer at all. Cited is the strongest, because the reader can click through and the engine is treating your page as evidence. The report shows all three per question, per engine, and how each moved since last month.

No, but it helps. If you've had the AI Visibility Audit, your 20 questions and three rivals carry straight over and the first monthly report compares against that baseline. If not, we agree the questions and rivals in the first two days and the first run becomes your baseline. Either way the questions are then frozen, so every month measures your position, not a change in wording.

Your monthly run is scheduled; I still read every report before it goes out. On GigXchange, where I built it, the AI check runs on demand from a button, so scheduling it is the first thing I set up for you, inside the first seven days. Each run has a spend cap and a kill switch, and a cut-off or empty AI answer is marked as an error rather than counted against you.

The report says so at the top, with the questions you lost and which pages the engines now prefer. Often it is something on your side - a page that broke, a date that went stale - and the alert catches the worst of those the same day. If it is a rival out-publishing you, the usual answer is more citable material, which is what the Authority & Citation Programme builds.

Yes, but sparingly, and a change starts a new baseline. The value of the monitor comes from asking the same questions every month; swapping them each time would make every report a fresh audit with nothing to compare. You can add a new service line or swap a rival that closed at any point, and the report marks where the comparison restarts.

Read-only access to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, added as a user on your accounts. That lets us pull clicks, views and indexing figures without being able to change anything. Google explains how to add a user in its Search Console help. We never need your Google login, your site's admin or any customer data, and you can remove our access any time.

Tell me by email before your next billing date and that is the last charge. There is no minimum term and no exit fee. You keep every report already sent, plus the stored answers behind them if you ask for an export. Your search console accounts were always yours; just remove our read-only user when we finish, and nothing on your site depends on the monitor to keep working.
